As I was sifting through Goodby's work, I had to sift through tons of Got Milk ads. I really got sick of seeing white milk mustaches on Kiss or Britney Spears. That's why I like this one. It's different because it uses chocolate milk and a cartoon. Overall, though, I'm not a big fan of Got Milk. I think it is a tired idea.

The visuals in this are really beautiful and interesting. I don't quite get, however, how they relate to a faucet. What is the connection between seahorses and Kohler's faucets. It's nice to look at, but I walk away thinking "so what". It reminds me more of a perfume ad or a fashion spread.

This is a fun and humorous way to advertise M&M minis. I think it works to use a family tree because M&M already has personified their normal sized candies, so it makes sense to put another one of their products in this type of environment. I really like that they use color to further tie this ad together. In one of their other ads, they have all white M&M children with a rogue black one. That is probably my favorite one! Really funny!

I don't understand the copy in this ad, but I love the visuals. If you can't tell, it's a bunch of ears and hairs and q-tips and piercings. At first when i saw it, I thought it was a wallpaper sample or something. When I realized it was made from ears, headphones, q-tips and unsightly hair, I couldn't stop staring at it. Yeah, it's gross, but I just couldn't look away. That's what makes me appreciate this ad so much. I am drawn to it even thought I don't know what the copy says.

This doesn't really do it for me. I get that McDonald's is trying to tell you they can entertain even the most sadistic of children with their ball pits and deliciously fattening food. However, when I see this, all I can think of is trying to enjoy my McRib while a screaming brat is giving his 2 year old brother an atomic wedgie two seats over from me. If McDonald's wants to sell its food, they should cater towards adults. I mean, do they think an 8 year old is going to just hop in the car and gun it to the nearest Mickey D's? 98% of the time, that won't happen. If you want me to eat at your restaurant, don't remind me of the screaming children!

This is cute, funny, ridiculous and reminds me of my adventure to the trash chute this morning. I think it's cool how they have made the garbage a little monster because, let's face it, our trash wants to be anywhere except inside the bag.

It is really powerful to show that the bullet is seeking out the little girl. It is scary, disturbing and makes me really anxious. So, overall, I think it delivers a powerful message.

I like how this ad doesn't show any features of this phone, but I'm still interested in it. Even though I don't know specs, I get that this phone is supposed to be an evolutionary feat. The earlier meteroid rock represented the clunkier phones of the 90's, both aesthetically and functionally speaking. It is always really effective when ads don't hit you over the head with features and improvements.

I think the thing that draws me to this commercial (and not in a good way) is that it makes me think that there is some weird love affair between the llama and the boy. I don't know if it's just me or not, but I really don't want to associate bestiality with something I eat. I respect that Starburst really plays up the wacky factor in its commercials, much like Skittles does, but I think this one is just a little too creepy. I much prefer the Starburst commercials where the candy tempts the eater to reject all of his friends so they won't try to bum a piece off of him.
